you did fix that rusty? it was made to beable to view or not view the directory tree window in monkey.

atleast i have been able to close it and open it. by clicking on the view menu. or on the title bar of the explorer tree.

did you not do that ? if not how did it work, :-?
maybe windows updated the shell to allow that on all items using the shell?

From my perspective, your last wife wasn't that bad looking :-)

That said, I agree that this should be customizable, and it is on our todo list (though initially, the means by which this will be controlled may not be as elegant as opera's).

Monkey is very similar to that great browser Opera in that it is sleek, fast and almost minimalist. Now what I would like to see is Monkey having a small button/arrow on the edge of the left frame - just like Opera! One click and it closes or opens. Hello tree, goodbye tree. I think having the album art , tree and the album showing in the main windows is as ugly as my last wife. Yes I know you can switch off the album view but then that's another button you have to click.
