does work! I have had DFX on my system with MM for several years and have used the method I described to install it.
But (there's always a but) I have just downloaded the latest version from Power Technologies (v8.5) and it does install ok, it
does give you the chance to change directory and it installs without issue, however MM 2.5.5 won't start with this plugin loaded into the MM plugins folder. There appears to be an issue with 8.5 as there has been no problem with previous versions.
If you go back to 8.3 as I have and install as described DFX runs fine.
I have emailed power technologies to let them know there seems to be some change in the latest version that is denying DFX to those MM users that want to use it.
