Well, that doesn't address the issue exactly.

my syncs sometimes get interrupted due to external forces (like I have to turn off my computer for some reason...say because MM freezes) and when I resume the sync, it starts from the very beginning ... AGAIN!

So the sync is really just a copy.

I think I just posted the same question! :P

Why does MM always want to resync songs that have not changed on my ipod? I just want to keep the iPod up to date. I add music every week but I never remember exactly what I added. Shouldn't sync just keep it up to date, not recopy every song?
