People could write a script to pull information from AllMusic, but it's against the usage terms for their website as AllMusic is just a preview for their payed database (which a software company can license access to and thus natively pull the information much like WMP does). There was a script for it in Steegy's application, but he was contacted by AMG regarding it, asking that usage of it be stopped. The developer for a script for MP3Tag which accessed AllMusic received the same notice from them.

There is the Web Sources Tagger script that can tag from a variety of web sources. Check it out in the Scripts and Components forum to see if it supports allmusic (don't know if allmusic can be used without paying a fee).

Sorry I don't know how but I have an idea of how to tag better then Amazon.

Is it possible someone could writer a script to use ALLMUSIC.COM? It would have to be able to root out the artist/songs/all songs to find the year a song was really done. That's what I'm really interested in. I don't want some best of or when a song was done in 1965 and then re-released in 2005. When I listen to music and a lot of it older, I like to know what year I was listening to that song. :D

Amazon just doesn't do this 90% of the time. :(

Thanks
Dave
