Yeah. My new process is complete rips, start Analyse volume, get a coffee, check that Analyse is complete, then, review tags. I am also doing more tag editing prior to ripping.

This seems to be still the case. It's best to wait till the status bar shows that no tracks are being tagged. Also see if using Analyze Volume after tagging provides a workaround.

Amen. Exactly the same scenario. Lost a whole pile of composer edits.

And this is for 3.0.5.1187.

This already has been reported in a different situation. This will supposedly get fixed in 2.6.

I noticed this a while back, but I got bit by it again today.

If you queue up a bunch of tracks to analyse the volume, then do any tag/database updates before the track gets analysed, after the analysis it will remove any updates.

It's very easy to reproduce.

- Analyse a freshly ripped album.
- While the analsys is processing, change the ratings for the album tracks.

Any tracks that have not completed analysis, will have their rating reverted after the track gets analysed.

This is with 2.5.3, and has happened in previous versions as well, so its not something new.
