Yeah, all your messages were showing up twice, I deleted the duplicates for you.
I don't know why that was occuring, except for the one time when I was posting a reply at the same time as you. But mine didn't show up so I used the back button to go back to get the text. Other than that I was unaware of double-posting. Sorry :oops:

PS. Please try not to double post everything.
I tried it on my second test installation which does not have any scripts installed and I receive the same error. I used debugview to create log files if anyone is interested in them.

Ok, same here, I can't reproduce it. It could be something caused by a script. As for testing that depends on the developers.

Yes, the first time I tried it I removed all the icons which of course made the toolbar disappear. After getting the error I tried to restart MM, that is when I got all the errors from the scripts. Then I tried to create a custom toolbar and named it Standard and restarted MM. When it restarted the scripts did not give me the errors and they were on the toolbar but I couldn't get to the Options via the mouse, I can via the keyboard. That is when I closed MM and removed the toolbars info from the ini file and started my tests. I am going to try it now on my laptop, maybe these errors are related to my desktop.

EDIT: OK, I tried it on my laptop and I do not get the errors so this is definately related to something on my desktop. Any ideas how I can debug to figure out why?

Do you leave one MediaMonkey icon plus all script icons in order to get this error?

I re-tried and I am still having problems, here is the info from the mediamonkey.ini file:

Code: Select all

[Toolbar4]
Title=Standard
Count=1
Button1=AProperties!@#!
Button2=ABurnCD!@#!
Button3=ASendToPortable!@#!
Button4=APodcastsMenu!@#!
Button5=!@#!
Button6=APlaySong!@#!
Button7=APlayNext!@#!
Button8=AEnqueueSong!@#!
Button9=AVisualization!@#!
Button10=!@#!
Button11=ASendToPlaylist!@#!
Button12=AProperties!@#!
The properties shortcut is the only one on the standard toolbar
Send to portable and sent to playlist is moved to my custom toolbar
All the others were deleted.

I also tried changing my skin from Vitreous Blue to the Blue Glass skin.

PS: I cannot remember if all this started before I accidentily removed all the icons off of the standard toolbar which made it disappear or before. I ended up removing all the toolbars entries from the ini file to start over. I wondering if there is some entry which is telling MM my standard toolbar is non-existent. :-?

Ok, spoke to soon, without Standard toolbar I also get an error.

I can't reproduce that either. Without the Standard toolbar and just MonkeyRok I get no error messages.

I tried that first, I removed all the MM icons and restarted and I got an error for every script which I had loaded which needed the standard toolbar. Then I closed MM and opened the ini file and deleted the toolbars section. Then I followed the steps outlined in first post and that's when my other errors began. Is there some entry in the registry I should get rid of to start over, maybe my tests messed something else up??

I can't reproduce this.

I tried move one icon to other toolbar, Tools > Options even after restart no error
I removed all but one icon from standard toolbar, Tools > Options even after restart no error

Possible reason of failure to reproduce is that I have MonkeyRok installed and it leaves an icon on the standard toolbar.
