This is fixed for me in 1208, can others check to see if their changes are now being saved?

Great :D , I'll let the scripters know they will not need to make any changes.
Will be fixed in 1208, see Mantis #5121.

Is this fixable or will I have to stick with the workarounds? Is it possible to open it at startup but close it when it does what it needs to do then reopen it to save the changes when MM is closing??

It will be nearly all auto scripts as they keep the ini open for the whole session
The 6 stand out as they are more active with the ini than other scripts

[EDIT] Even normal scripts (if you can start them, leave them open, change toolbar, then close it) will have the same effect as most of the scripts make use of a variable

I thought Jiri posted that in this build the ini handling would go back to the way it was in 3.0. And is that really the cause, I have other scripts which write to the ini file but they are not causing problems? Or do these six handle the ini writing differently than the others?

xtaticace wrote:Oh and Nyn, did the toolbars reset on you on previous betas as well or just the latest 1207?
I am asking because customizing the 'Standard' toolbar like removing a few function keys worked fine on previous betas and I haven't installed any new scripts since the last but second beta 1206.

In fact I had to remove a few. Namely:
Genre Finder,
Embedded Minilyrics.

I should probably do a clean install and start from there.
The problem started for me in 1204 but since the toolbars were having some problems I stopped using them until 1207. Also, as far as the six in my list it is not one of the first three, it is all six. I tested them each individually and they all did the same thing.

It took me hours but I finally narrowed down the list of scripts which are preventing the toolbar customizations from saving, they are as follows:

Bex's Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix
Bex's Last 100
Bex's Tagging Inconsistencies
MoDementia's Custom Properties Panel
MoDementia's Playlist Sandbox
Raybeau528's mmStations

As none of you are aware these are some of my favorites, so script authors PLEASE can you find a solution??

Nyn
Well to further narrow it down, I am only using the first three and so since the problem persists to both of us it has to be one of the first three.

OK :-). Can you check out what script causing it and then send that script to my mail ?

maybe it's something with ini management in scripting ? I mean scenario like this :
- script opens ini at startup
- you'll customize toolbars
- on closing script will save changes to ini file (but to old one opened at start of MM)

Can you check this in scripts you're using ?
