I figured out what you mean. It seems that if you hit space a few times you will eventually succeed. Now off to Mantis to figure out how to report this.

Or you can go to another field, say the comment, highlight a space and copy/paste it just after Rob. You're good to go.

I've experienced the same issue. I just let the autofill take over, then go back to add the space and fix the rest of the name.

I'm not 100% sure that I'll be able of explaining this clearly. The problem appears when you have already have an artist with a similar (normally longer version) name and you can't add the new name with a space....I know completely unclear.

For example, say you have a few artists with the name Robert, but no one who's name starts with just Rob. Auto-complete scoffs at adding a space after just Rob. So far I've just added the first letter of the last name. Then back arrow, add the space, then finish the name.

Seems very contrived, but I've actually hit this problem a number of times already.
