the mp3's have vanished from the folders on the computer ?
or did they just not show up in the list for mediamonkey's database stored playlists?
if they are gone from the computer somebody deleted them.
if you did not delete them or anyone in your house did not delete them.
check your friends and see if they got rid of the artist because they did not like them.
if none of them did it. then you might have been hit by an mp3 virus one was made a few years ago
that was directed at the mp3's and it might have been modified to go after certian artists now.
which is another reason not to use mp3 files.
or get a good av program and KEEP IT UPDATED.
but if it is a new virus then the av program might not even know about it yet?
if you lost them in monkey's playlist database then you might have moved them to a new folder with out using mediamonkey to do the moving which has caused him to be looking in the old folder.
go back to the files in explorer and replace them back in to the old path way folders that monkey had them in.
restart monkey and then go to those songs and have monkey move them to your new folder system by using his auto organizer feature, that way he will change the path to them in his database and never lose them.
mediamonkey is short sited he can't see the other programs move the files. if you pay him he will send out a spidermonkey to find them if they were moved by the other programs but if you don't pay him then you got to go look for them, or not move them but let him move them.
