You can play FLAC 24 bit by installing an ASIO output plugin.

It depends on the skin you're using, but the default skin (named Glided) [i]does[/i] have a stop button. It is on the right side of the player below where the bitrate is displayed.

Don't know about the 24bit/192KHz portion of your question, but MediaMonkey failed to play my flac files because of the file extension. Once I renamed them from .fla to .flac, MediaMonkey could play them.
