Nothing man...i checked everywhere. I forgot to mention. It only closes when it either scans or adds new files to the library. And also my m4a playback has been screwed up. Before i installed the beta, m4a's played fine. Now it cuts off after about 1 min or less, and then i cant play any of my m4as....i dont know what the heck is going on. I need to remove all traces of both the beta version (3.1) of MediaMonkey, and 3.07. Maybe that will fix it, i dont know. But ya...this is really pissing me off.

You might be using the MediaMonkey 3.1 database with MediaMonkey 3.0 and they're not compatible. See if you can find which folder the database is located and if there is a file called MM.DB.Pre31. If so rename it to MM.DB (you will need to rename the file that is called MM.DB to do this).

I installed a beta version of mediamonkey 3.1 to try it out. I followed the instructions and installed it to a location other than my current 3.07 stable version.
Found out that it was causing problems, so i uninstalled the beta version. The minute i did that, my 3.07 version started screwing up. Every time i try to use the file monitor, or add anything to my library, it reads it all, finishes scanning/adding, and then closes. Then depending on the luck of the draw, i either get multiple (about 20 or 30) Application error popups, the occasional runtime error, and more stuff. I have it running right now, and its wanting to close. Here is what it says:

Exception EAccessViolation in module ntdll.dll at 00068516. Access Violation at 77B68516 in module 'ntdll.dll' Read of address BA5D307F.

My OS is Windows Vista.

I have not had problems with mediamonkey. EVER. Until i installed the beta and then uninstalled it. I have tried fresh installs, different programs to remove registry keys, and all the files leftover that were associated with MM 3.07. Still i have yet to figure out what the hell is going on. Please respond if anyone can help. I am about to throw my computer out of the friggin window. I love mediamonkey, its the best Music Manager EVER. But i cant take it screwing up! I get pissed easily (especially since i have bipolar haha)

Appreciate it!
