Scrobbler Plugin do not watch for proxy settings in MediaMonkey, but this is good idea for future improvements.

I recently realized that I have problems with the handshake with the old winamp audioscrobbler. I updated to 3.1 and installed the new native scrobbler (1.0.2.14). However, the handshake failure still occured. As the behavior hadn't changed, I first disabled my firewall. As this did not help, I thought about the internet options in the internet explorer, which I am usually not using at all. As I am using my laptop at work as well there are manual proxy settings in the connections dialogue. Switching these off, the handshake works.
Now I am wondering, why the Scrobbler Plugin is using these settings, if there is an own settings dialogue for network settings and a proxy server in MediaMonkey itself?

Perfectly. The cache I collected with 3.0 passed seamless to Last.fm once upgraded

I just upgraded to Vista 64bit yesterday. Installed IE8 (which is final now) before any other program. I installed MediaMonkey as a fresh intallation and then installed the Last.fm plugin. I got a handshake failure the first song I tried to play. Uninstalled IE8, no issues.

Guess I'm going to stick with the olllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllld winamp plugin. :(

Log and Cache are not located in MM folder they are located beside MM Library.

o Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\MediaMonkey\

o Windows Vista:
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\MediaMonkey\[/quote]

I reinstalled the plugin first. I'm using windows 7 and since it's a beta you never know what's gonna happen. So I uninstalled the plugin, put mediamonkey in admin mode installed the pluging restarted mediamonkey with Administrator mode on and for now it's working again. If i get the same troubles again i'll mail you the files you asked for.
