I am using build 1237 (verified same behavior in both non-debug build and debug build) on Vista.
MediaMonkey fails to delete album art from wma lossless files. When I try to delete the "Cover (front)", MediaMonkey fails to delete it and displays no error messages.
Steps to replicate the problem:
- start MM
- go to Album node, select the Album, select the track
- right click in Album Art pane, select Edit Album Art Properties
- select the one image, click Remove
- Click OK
- notice that MediaMonkey fails to delete the image
I stripped down and isolated the problem by starting from an empty db and add/rescan in one album containing one track (the track being a wma lossless file, originally ripped by EAC, then subsequently tagged by MediaMonkey, incl. adding a "Cover (front)" image.
I have sent you (
support@mediamonkey.com) a log file and uploaded and made available a track that demonstrates this. Note, however, the problem is not just with this one track.
There are now three oustanding problems with editing art in WMA Lossless files that I have reported, all which I keep running into:
1- MediaMonkey fails to (re-)order album art in a track
2- MediaMonkey hangs when you try to edit album art in a track
3- MediaMonkey fails to delete album art in a track
