This issue should be completely resolved in build 1255.

Hi,
same problem for me. .1250 works. With 1251 and 1252 I get the same error message.
Runing on Vista 32, Avira Antivir Premium.
Reinstalling 1250 (without deinstalling 1251 or 1252)solves the problem. It appeared with 1251
before yesterdays MS patchday and it happened just 30 Minutes ago with 1252 (after patchday).
With all (almost)previous versions there where no problem like that.

What version were you upgrading from? Could you also try some older versions from the beta forum, just to be sure which version started this problem for you? Feel free to send more crash reports, so that we get as much info as possible.

go to the options in your antivirus program and tell it not to scan media files. :)

do they really have the ability to be used by hackers? :-?

Same issue, no itunes installed. It appears to have an access violation with each track it scans during boot. Installed debug version and submitted a bug.

Please install the debug version, which should automatically offer you to send a crash report.

Thanks,
