You are very correct! My fault. I suppose I'll just have to wait then.

Stephen, thank you.
It was regression introduced when fixing 0005051.

Fixed in build 1257 and covered by automated regression testing (build 1300).
I'm running MM 3.1 build 1257 but it doesn't seem to work...
What's the build 1300 that he refers to?

Looks like a bug, I've added it to the bug tracker:

Probelm Subscribing to mp3 Podcast

by ruan28 » Wed Jun 17, 2009 12:20 pm

I just installed MM 3.1 and it's been great, but I'm having a problem with one of my podcasts.

Specifically: http://www.howstuffworks.com/podcasts/s ... d-know.rss

I understand that MM doesn't do video podcasts, but this is a simple mp3 podcast.
First, I tried to subscribe to the podcast by using the link to the RSS feed. The title and description of the Podcast were automatically detected, but no tracks showed up in the subscription.
Then, I exported my subscriptions from Juice as an .opml file and imported that into MM. When I navigate to the podcast and try to expand it, I get a message saying "Episodes are in an unsupported file type"

I have also checked to make sure that I have mp3's associated with MM.
I can download the podcast using juice and then add them to my library, but I'd rather be able to use MM to catch the podcasts directly. And none of the other podcasts have this problem!

Would appreciate any advice!
