No Need to Add new Section close MM and Add MultipleArtist=1 to existing [Last.FM] section

What I meant to say was that it won't accept tracks with a ";" between them -- not that it won't accept them but because those artists don't exist.

I think that the clear choice here is to change your multiple artist separator from the "&" sign back to ";".

However, if you don't wish to, you can disable splitting of multiple artists when you scrobble:

Edit MediaMonkey.ini and add:

[Last.FM]
MultipleArtist=1

I'm not sure the reason behind the " & " or who put it there, but it accepting an entry for "Artist 1; Artist 2" doesn't exactly mean it accepts "multiple artist" entries. In this cases, it accepted one artist and that is "Artist 1; Artist 2." It doesn't count for a play of Artist 1 and Artist 2 like it would in MediaMonkey, instead it counts for one play of artist "Artist 1; Artist 2."

I believe there was an INI entry added several test builds back that could force MM to submit the artist in "Artist 1; Artist 2" format instead of as just "Artist 1." The change was made to only submit one artist name, because again, these "multiple artist" entries don't show up under either artist, instead creating a new entry for that exact name. Kind of like how MM2.5 used to create a tree node for "Artist 1; Artist 2" instead of showing the track under Artist 1 and Artist 2 nodes like it currently does. Thus, it's believed that in most cases, the "main artist" will be the first listed, and thus it's submitted under that artist.

Yes it does support artists with a & between them so yeah it does support multiple artists. And I don't realy get a error but it doesn't seems to be right if there stands only one artist if there are two.
Btw if you look @ my last.fm page http://www.last.fm/user/schoentoon/tracks. You can see how it first used a & and worked fine, then used a ; and didn't recognize the artist and last recognize only one artist.

Since I use the plugin from mediamonkey only one of the two artist is show'n up.
I hope this will be fixed in the next beta from mediamonkey or in the next version of the scrobble plugin :).
Why would you want both artists? Last.fm won't accept multiple artist submissions anyway.

trixmoto has said in trying to fix a script of his that last fm is or has changed things on their server.

thus making it impossible to keep any thing secret for the secret keywords. so updating his script he said is
not worth it .

so maybe it will be done later when they change something else or he figures out how to make it work proper again. 8)

i say this cause it might be the reason for your error. :-?

I use the Last.Fm Scrobble thingy from the first topic here in MediaMonkey Beta testing and I use the last beta of MediaMonkey. I use a & to split multiple artist first with a old plugin for last.fm it showed up on last.fm with a ; so it wouldn't recognize it. Since I use the plugin from mediamonkey only one of the two artist is show'n up.
I hope this will be fixed in the next beta from mediamonkey or in the next version of the scrobble plugin :).

Edit Peke: Added Bug number to Subject.
