I think most users prefer auto-search when typing. I think it works fairly well, a little slower typing being allowed might help. I think that an option to add a start search button (like some browsers have for the Location bar) with the option to disable auto-search could be a good feature.

For me the accidental auto-searches (when user types to slow) leads to slow performance of MediaMonkey due to a large library on slow hardware. A way to stop auto-searches would improve the experience for me.

No, because "Bajo Lomuto" is intended as one search operation.

The issue is: how should MM tell? The user should not have to type fast in order to make it one search.

1) If I slowly type AB into the (unlabelled) quick search box (and get the views of A and then AB), then click 'Back to previous view', the previous view A fails to appear.

2) ... and the 'Forward to previous view' button fails to ungrey.

3) If I click Back again, Forward does ungrey... and its drop-down shows the previously unreachable A view, but if I click Forward, again the previous view A fails to appear.

Perhaps this is related to the fact that the view A does not appear under Search Results....

FWIW the search dropdown is "Entire Library".

Do others see this?
