well this is kind of fixed.

it now has another issue.

the nc area image is showing in the corner now between the scroll bars

how ever in several skins i have noticed that when i slide the horizontal thumb scroll image. the nc area image flickers the top of the image. only when the horz scroll bar is moved, this also still shows the tree backgound image above the nc area image where it is flickering just about a 3 pixel thick horz.. border line is what seems to be flickering.

but for now its able to be lived with it must be kept in mind though as it might cause trouble in the future if left this way for too long. :)

Please report whether this occurs when build 1274+ is released, it should be resolved then.

didn't the screen shots show you what it is doing.?

it seems to be a simple image loading error where it does not find the set pixel location for between the vertical scroll bar and the horizontal scroll bar.

that clears its self up when you re size the child window that is showing the error, or if you open and close the or resize the other opened or closed child windows, which causes the child window with the error to resize. 99.9% of the time for me that window is the music explorer window.

options don't seem to have any effect on it as i have been changing them and still get it to happen.

i must admit it happens far less now on 1272 version.
:)

try this.

1. start mediamonkey.
2. load all default child windows. album art, music explorer, track browser, now playing,
3. expand the tree nodes for library and for playlists so they stretch long enough to show the vertical scroll bar.
4. click on a playlist so it shows tracks in the list view and in the now playing and in the track browser.
5. adjust the width of the music explorer to a narrow one just to make the horz.. scroll bar show up
6. one option i changed that might have some thing to do with it. is the one in tweakmonkey that clears the now playing list, i turned that one on so make sure you have it turned OFF. to keep the list loaded on restart of monkey.
7.close mediamonkey.
8. restart mediamonkey.
9. the error should be there it will be noticable when you look at the scroll bar corner if you dont see any text in it. make the music explorer tree more narror so you can see the text is being cut off to the right by the vertical scroll bar.
10. now slide the vertical thumb image down watching the corner it should show you the text moving behind the scroll bar which shows in that cornor area. just as i showed you in the screen shot.
11. and the image should be covering up part of the image or all of the image of the vertical slide thumb image. (depending on how long of scroll you made it do with the expanding of the nodes.)

i have on rare times got the same error on the vertical scroll for the list view area but not as much as on the music explorer tree., and as said in step 6. it seems to happen more when i don't clear the playlist on closing mediamonkey. 8) :-?

For the life of me, I cannot replicate this.

Can somebody perhaps send a video of this? Please indicate what settings are used in Tools > Options > General (Perhaps that has an impact).

still showing up in 1271 but will disappear if you move the width of the music explorer tree to get rid of the horz slide scroll bar, and will work correctly when you make the music explorer tree narrow again.

yes the nc area image is still having troubles it seems to go away when you change the size of the screen or change skins or change players in the skin. or do all three at a time. but it does still show up now and then.

:-?

Is this still an issue? Up until I read this thread I've always installed the latest beta version but haven't done so lately because of this.

i noticed this problem appears when i minimize mm, do other tasks and maximize mm, what i normally do is a sometimes just click on one of the open windows in the taskbar for example windows explorer or firefox... and after that i click on mm window to maximize it after a few times of doing that it starts going bonkers and if i move the mouse around it starts "Eating" the left/right side of mm away. I noticed what happens before that is the minimize button on top right hand corner "_" becomes a "square"... and if you minimize again it doesnt minimize it properly and leaves mediamonkey hovering above the taskbar... if you click on mediamonkey in the taskbar it wont maximize again... only way to get it maximized is you have to double click on the icon on the right next to the clock... which minimizes it and double click maximizes it again.

in the latest version this error seemed to be gone when i launched the monkey from the install panel.

but when i closed monkey and then started him from the desktop icon, the error showed up again. so it is still in the newest version.
