is there any solution to this?

Does anybody know a way to display the waveform in MM?

Thanks for the help in advance

Yeah I think thats´s the standard setting.
So maybe in the near future our wishes get fulfilled.
Maybe a broadcast wave file compatibilty for the professionals would be a very nice thing too. But please WAVEFORM DISPLAY and AUTOPLAY!!! Please.

Hi Ulrich,
if that helps you a bit: You can set up MM so that it plays a song immediately if you double click it. I guess that is even the standard setting. It can be done in Options->Player.

I agree with the player: A better/bigger/more sophisticated player would help!

waveform display and autoplay

I am using MM as an sample-search-tool.
It really works well with that, if there would be an autoplay feature as soon as you click on a file it should start to play, that would be great. And a waveform display where you can click on to jump with the playback cursor, not only a slider.
And therefore a bigger or customisable player/waveform window.
That would be my dream as I am spending a lot of hours every day doing sound for TV, I would appreciate that feature very very much.
By the way I paid for MM Gold if that helps maybe.
