As any action on this has been deferred to MM4, I changed the topic status icon from Bug to Information.

In addition, I will be editing the tracks involved to avoid the issue. My initial objective in any case was to get to no current unsynchronized tracks in my database. No way to monitor without a clean starting point.

Well, I got rid of the date discrepancies by directly editing properties. Still have the non-numeric TrackNumber but leaving those as is for test data when MM fixed.

Also found that MusicIP Archive Analysis can cause new inconsistent tracks. Need to look into that later.

The tracks left included all my x/xx track numbers plus my Goon Show episodes which had been coded as track number "yy-mm-dd SnnEnn".

So, you could be correct that my identification of alphanumeric as the cause may be too broad, but, there is more than one case involved.

BTW, I also have other tracks which remain. Date seems to be the common denominator for those cases but I have not figured out yet what exactly is "wrong" with those tags.

It's one of "those days," so forgive me if I come across a little slow. However, what I gather is anytime you have something other than a number in the Track # field, in build 1282, those files always show as unsynchronized. If that is what you're implying, then I don't think the issue is that broad because I just ran this node and came up empty. I have a few cases of "##.#" and one case of "##+##" and neither of these displayed in the node.

I just edited a file to contain "16/19" and re-ran the node. This file comes up, so it looks as those it's specific to "#/#" and not any/all alphanumeric combinations. There's already reported issues regarding the behavior of MM when it comes to these values, so it might be related to them. (only one I can remember off the top of my head is: 5878: MM hides the /n part (disc qty) of WM/PartOfSet and ID3 TPOS (discnumber))

Tags with alphanumeric TrackNumber tags always show up as unsynchronized, even after clear tags and synchronize tags.

eg. 5/10
