1287 - Crashing when playing next song after startup [#6163]

by IzKen » Sun Nov 08, 2009 12:56 pm

I think I've found a pattern to at least one of the crash scenarios with 3.1.1 (3.2). 1st off every build of 3.1.1 I have tested has crashed and normally at least once a day, I listen to music most of the time most days, so 3.1.1\3.1 is unstable STILL.

Scenario:
  • Listening to music in an autoplay list: Rating >= 3.5 stars, Genre = <list>, Flags {custom field} doesn't contain 'bad', Flags doesn't contain 'rerip', Flags doesn't contain 'Dup', Last Played > (days ago) 30. MM normally in MiniMode, last 5 songs kept in Now Playing, Auto Organize enabled.

    MM crashed, for unknown reasons....

On startup MM goes MiniPlayer mode (Not sure if this matters) and I click play to play the next song in the playlist, above, that it was playing last. I have also chosen songs further down the playlist.

MM crashes when it gets done playing the 1st song and goes to the next song in the playlist.

It does not crash if I goto my playlist, above, and have it create, after the 1st song, a new Now Playing list and play it.
Windows 7 RTM x64 4GB RAM, Norton Internet Security 2010, Outlook, Skype, Pidgin, OneNote, TimePanic, IE, TaskManager, open 100% of the time
