This will be improved in the next release, numeric fields won't be ignored this way.

Currently numeric data is not used in the search. This improves many searches. Unfortunately searches that include artists or albums with numbers can turn up weird, many or no results do to the lack of the number.

I'd prefer that the numbers are included in the searches.


btw. you can type your own search in the album browser so you can make 10cc out of cc.

Doing an amazon autotag for artist 10cc album 10cc - it actually looks for artist "cc" album "cc". The album DOES exist at the amazon.com site, but it seems to be impossible to locate it from MM.
