Could this have anything to do with CD Art Display?
Are there any known issues with it? I ran it on my laptop when I had Vista, and there were no problems, but I DO have a different OS now...
Possibly, especially if this always happens during track transitions. I'd disable it temporarily and see if the issues continue.
Where do you disable "CD Art Display". I seem to also have that problem.

CD Art Display is third party software that doesn't come with MM, so it's only there if you installed it yourself. If you did you could just simply not load it to 'disable' it.
