Just before the alpha 2 release there got some bugs into the burning code and so there's a couple of problems. I hope it will be all ok in the next release, although we still might need some help to tune it for different settings.

Sorry for the problems,
Jiri

Hmmm, it seems that unfortunally, current implementation of Data CD-Burning is a disaster  ...
I can confirm that CD-Burning doesn't occurs (even with the default settings) after i press burn...
Also, while entering the mask manually (meaning that you write e.g. <Artist>) works pressing the buttons to enter masks gives unexpected results (eg <Genre> gives G% a type of mask that is used in WinAmp)

Finally, as a suggestion, i like the <Random> mask but it would be even better if we have an <Autonumber> mask that will give an increment number in front of files (e.g. 01-Filexx.mp3, 02-Fileyy, etc)

Same here.

The mask buttons don't work as expected either. <Genre> displays %G etc.

MP3 Burn didn't work

Just tried an MP3 Burn in the second alpha and it didn't seem to work.

1 - I created a playlist
2 - Off of the playlist I right mouse clicked and selected: Send To / CD Burn
3 - On the "audio CD burning wizard" I selected "burn data CD with compressed audio"
4 - Clicked "Next" / "Next" again / "Burn!" (I left the defaults).
5 - The modal window goes away and nothing happens?

Anyone else tried to burn an MP3 CD yet?

Tony
