Hi,

1. Filter setting doesn't persist, there's nothing you can do for it, we will think about changing it to the next release.

2. Defining of track order in filters doesn't do anything, tracks are still ordered by the order defined in the track list column headers.

3. We think about adding custom views, it isn't the top priority, but it will probably come in one of the next releases. I just didn't get your point, which view would you like to add?

Can I save defined filters?

by grymwynn » Sat Oct 11, 2003 5:12 am

Hi!

In my Library I have a lot of Tracks of multiple Artists. After defining the Album-Artist-Tag, i got one problem less in the Album-View.
But when i use the Artist-View there are lots of Artists with only one song. There the predefined filter "Show just Artists with more than x songs" is a good idea, but i've got to define it every time i start the monkey.

So is there a way to save my filter for a special view?

The second filter. where I can set the song order doesn't apply properly. If I define order by Album and than Track# in the Artist-View, the songs keep beeing messed up wenn I select an Artist with multiple albums. Do you have any suggestions what I am doing wrong?

And a last Question. Will there be a way in future releases to define my own views? I'm missing an "and" so that on first stage I can have my tracks orderd by "Artist and Album".

Thx,
Grym
