I have been replacing some of my lower quality album art with higher res (500x500) stuff and I've run in to a weird problem. I've been adding album art is one of three ways: "autotagging from web" using amazon, looking up the art manually and dragging it over, or using trixmoto's batch art script. I've done about 300 albums and I've noticed that with some of them, the thumbnail in the main pane reverts back to my old album art. The art that shows in the now playing is accurate and updated however. I look in the album art properties and it shows the correct and updated art embedded in the tag. There are no other images there. When I "apply to all selected tracks" again and hit Ok in the edit screen, the thumbnail is refreshed correctly, but it reverts back to the old one as soon as I restart. What's weirder is that I've used iTunes to see which art is will pick up, and it's the old one! I don't understand where the old art is being stored if I've effectively replaced it with a new one. My only guess is that MM somehow caches the thumbnails and won't update it for some reason. Any ideas?
Here is an image that illustrates the issue:
