I agree, I wouldn't want this to happen, but I think a criteria in the Auto-Playlist that allows the user to set limit to current filter would be a nice addition.

I could see the usefulness of this being an option, however I suspect that people who use Auto-playlists for device synchronization depend on the current functionality... I know I certainly do...

Which isn't to say that I wouldn't love a check-box which allowed me to chose whether or not a given auto-playlist should follow the current filter, because that would potentially be useful. Though as I use auto-playlists to build my filters, some sort of redundancy flag would probably be needed... otherwise all sorts of problems could arise...

When switching filters, it would be usefull if autoplaylists repect the filter setting.
