Interesting! That did the trick. :D

After creating a testfilter, the above mentioned error that happened after clicking the 'submission rules' button doesn't happen anymore and I can now choose to exclude tracks from my testfilter.

Ok! Lowlander I matched my .ini to yours and now it actually works. I can now even see the 'now listening' part on last.fm which I thought didn't even work with the native scrobbler.

For some reason there was a lot of weird settings in my .ini, like:

DefaultPlaylist=*****
Timeout=15
InfoTime=5
MinMatch=60
MinLastPlayed=120
MinRating=0
IncludeHigherRating=0
IncludeUnknownRating=1
WarningTimeout=0
Debug=0
RatingCondition=>=

All of which I removed.

I still get the error when clicking on 'submission rules' though.

Cancel that, it just stopped working again for no particular reason. :(

I have no filters. -> Active = None (Show all Tracks)

I have no need for filters since I only load music into MM, no audiobooks, podcasts or other stuff.

Now do you have trouble finding the ini or what to update? The ini is the standard MediaMonkey.ini: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... ticleid=17
I have no trouble finding the .ini and actually the native scrobbler now does work even though I still get the above mentioned error. In the logfile it will sill say "NowPlaying Skipping as Track is excluded by FilterID 3" at the start of the track but it will actually scrobble it to last.fm once the track is finished. So for now I'm good with that.
As for what change, I'd try Filters= (no values), mine is

Code: Select all

[Last.FM]
OptionSheetID=1
Enabled=1
OnlyWithAlbumTagged=1
NowPlaying=0
ForceHandshake=0
Status=1
EnableToolbarIcon=0
ScrobbleOnlyLibrary=0
MultipleArtist=0
Filters=
LogToFile=1
CacheIcon=88
EnableIcon=89
DisableIcon=90
after which Path follows
Thanks for this, I didn't know what to edit in the .ini

Well it doesn't really matter at this point as things seem to work but it's good to know how the .ini should look like if scrobbling stops working.

That would be Peke to look at the error.

What are you all bumping for, Tools > Options > Last.fm Service and click on Submission Rules. Deselect all the Filters.

For me the Podcast Filter blocks submission for some reason, despite that the tracks are not listed in the Podcast filter.
