Ive just recently built a new Win XP media center, and found myself using its interface to listen to my collection more and more... it would be great if this could be used with mediamonkey and/or it database.

on another note, im sure i read that the vista mce pics were fake and that the next version of mce will infact be an upgrade to the 2005 version. If not i wont be happy!

Anyway, as monty80au originally reported, MM should get its entry in "Program Access and Defaults", this will be implemented in the next release.

MM DB = MediaMonkey DataBase
MCE = Media Center Edition
HTPC = Home Theatre Personal Computer

"This program definitely needs Windows XP Media integration" and "Integration of MM with a HTPC program like MCE" are identical statements - he was agreeing with you!

Lowlander, could you post or email me the screenshots?

what the??

Hello.

I'd probably understand some of what you are saying if you didn't use acronyms so much. Sounds good tho.

Intergration of MM with a HTPC program like MCE and/or Meedio would be amazing.

In my opinion it should be able to use the MM DB and autoplaylists while using the HTPC programs interface. I have seen some screenshots for Windows vista MCE and that is amazing.

This program definately needs Windows XP Media Integration.

So I can:
- set it as my default player in "Program Access and Defaults"
- use my keyboard shortcut buttons for media player, next, play, etc

Otherwise I'll stick with WMP for the convenience.
