FYI everyone - five years later, and MM still does not natively support AIFF format.
This is kind of disappointing... looking through the bug reports, it looks like they were working on it... then stopped because something else came up... then started working on it again... then someone was gong to do it if they had time....
Five years, and all I can find is a link in a forum to another of the same question which points to a link of yet another of the same question which then links to this thread. No long-term, permanent solutions, and nothing that allows full use of the format. (I.E. You can't fully tag, etc.)
I love this product... it's helped me locate songs in seconds instead of searching the hard drive... can look up lyrics (though some come up incorrect) for songs... find album art... even link to product pages in Amazon for purchase of albums, or tag from the same... but can't recognize a format that's been out for going on 30 years, but is still in use in many places.
Disappointing.
