I use mixmeister and it's never caused any problems for me, so I wouldn't have thought this was the cause.

Is your album art stored in the tags themselves or as links?

By "autosync" do you mean syncing files and tags, or computer and player?

I think this is only going to be fixed if you can generate a debug log and send it to the MM team.

I believe I ran auto sync a couple of times. I kind of think this is when it happened but there is really no way to tell.

As an update, in addition to the small number of scrambled files I have, after installing alpha 4 yesterday I have discovered that probably a quarter of of my ripped full albums have been stripped of thier album art, all other fields seem to be intact. I have no idea what caused this although I cant imagine it happened very long ago as I would have noticed it. Interestingly album art that I added manually to some of the affected tracks about a week ago (ie post A3 pre A4) as a second picture did not get removed so either the problem happened over a week ago or it only affected primary or "cover art" pictures.

I am running XP sp2
I ran mixmiester a bpm analyzer and tagger for the first time last week also, maybe that caused it?

Have you been editing track properties or just playing the songs?

I've had alpha v3 going for a week or two and Ive started to notice a few songs with tag field s from other files. Like the wrong album art or song title. I don't know exactly when the scrambling occured but im pretty sure it was after the alpha install becasue this had never happened before about a week ago. it is pretty rare, Ive only noticed maybe five messed up songs out of the hundreds that Ive recently played, but it is definately not a comforting feeling.
