I am also for this request. This looks like a fantastic tool for playlist generation. I currently use musicip to get me started, but something integrated into MM would be superb!

No release date for MM4 is available, although an alpha might show up in 1 month, just don't count on it.

I would like to know if it is possible for you to build of Addons around the solution “The Echonest” and its API: http://developer.echonest.com/docs/v4/

It will be for example possible of:

- Retrieve of the BPM for each song (Like the retriving Genre of trixmoto)
- build playlists starting from a song
- Ect….

I let to you discover the whole of the possibilities that this API offers.

Do you think that is feasible?
