2) How do you reproduce that? Anything specific? I tried it several times but no problem...
3) can't comment on that, I've only got one monitor right now
4) You're saying when you click the search bar it should immediately clear the text? Doesn't sound like a great idea...
1) You still can call the track browser back (button on a toolbar, through main text menu should be possible as well). So even if it should have behaved as you describe, then the behavior is inconsistent. And for me who browses his music through the
track browser only - very
inconvenient to go back and find where the node browser (Library etc) is. Because with a
track browser on - you can immediately, with one click, navigate to any group of songs you want (e.g. genre) . Much faster!
2) Happened to me several times. Was just typing there in the field.
3) As I recall this happens in MM3 too. Though can't say exactly - I organize, use and search mostly the songs through track browser.
4) There is still a history in a drop-down menu.
At least select the text already typed (like an URL in Google Chrome, when clicked in Address Bar) (with only on click, anywhere in the field, after the focus was lost; Or with hot-keys). This is one of the reasons I don't use Search functionality much - because it requires me to 'concentrate' and select the whole phrase in a search field. Much faster would be 1) Click 2) Type 3) Click on a song
