I just found out that the MediaMonkey.ini had 2 [System] sections after the update. This caused custom settings to be lost here.

I'm actually baffled as to where MediaMonkey is reading the ini as the old one is intact.

You're right, same here for custom DB location, it seems the whole ini was overwritten (in default location here).

Which Windows version?

every time I install mm4 it overwrites the existing mm4 ini and db config by creating a new ini/db in appdata/roaming/mediamonkey.

deleting the appdata/roaming/mediamonkey folder returns to my normal ini/db config.

note: I am using the mediamonkey.ini in the MM4 APPLICATION folder, and the DB is also stored there.

in other words, both INI and DB are with mediamonkey.exe

edit:

just installed 1349, I watched the installer create a new mediamonkey.ini in the appdata\roaming\mediamonkey folder even though there is a working mediamonkey.ini in the \program files x32\mediamonkey4\ folder.
