Hi all. Very happy MediaMonkey (Gold License) user here. I've been using it for over a year now, and generally speaking, I love it. But I'm experiencing a slight frustration with my Podcast Subscription tagging.
Is there a way -- builtin, plugin, or otherwise -- to use the "On download, tag episodes based on data from podcast feed"
but also always override the tag values for certain fields?
I would literally kill or maim for this functionality. As any regular podcast subscribers out there know, podcast producers are often nightmarishly inconsistent with their track tagging, so keeping my podcast library organized requires constant maintenance. I'm fine with a certain amount of that, but I would absolutely love to be able to, for example, always force the same Artist and Album values for a given podcast.
Side note: If I were able to do this, that would preclude the need to squash
this bug that I just reported -- I could simply force different Artist values for the 3 podcasts that I mention in that bug report and that would fix the problem.
