did it for me too. but only for the portable version.
if i install it as usual everything is well...

I experience this as well, installing a portable version of 1367 on Win 7 x64. The MM4 splash screen opens over the installer window so I can't tell if anything is being displayed there, but after MM4 opens and I exit, the installer window shows the install complete and offers a check box to start MM4 after exiting the installer, which does work.

It happened again with 1368 portable install.

I've seen this occur with both 3.x and 4.x, on Vista. Not sure of the cause, as it didn't happen every time for me.

Happened to me once, when I installed a portable version of MM. Don't know if reproducible.

Yes that's what I mean, MM will start in the middle of install process before the final installation window even shows up. It happens on Win7 64 with portbale install (maybe that has an impact)

Nothing but I may not want to start MM after installation for any reason. It starts MM before you see final screen when you have the check box to start or not MM. At that time MM is already running.

MM will start before the install process is done
