Yes, that's precisely what I meant. Thanks for confirming. Added as: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=7795

I think I reproduced this if I understood your issue. On W7, SP1 and Synology DS410.

If I migrate to Entire Library/Location/Network/DS410 and right-click on DS410 and select rescan, I am unable to expand to see the subdirectories in the Add/Rescan window.

If I go to My Computer/Network/...../DS410 and right-click and select Rescan, in this case in the Add/Rescan window I am able to expand the subdirectories.

I hope that was what you were looking for.

Add/rescan no subfolders on root server [#7795]

In the Location node select a networked machine (machine, not folders). Right click on it and select Add/Rescan Files. It will show the machine preselected, but you can't expand to show folders on machine.

If instead you select a folder on the machine in the Location node and then use Add/Rescan Files on that folder you can expand and see all subfolders.

Tested on skinned 1373 on XP with QNAP and Windows Server 2003 machines. Can anyone reproduce?
