[1393] Just an update, Im using Windows 7 Ultimate on another computer which has near enough the same specs as the Vista one.
Good thing I noticed is that 2. (Alt+Tab problem) has been fixed, but it doesn't work on Windows Vista still.

Problem 1/1.1 still occurs though!

Still both problems are reoccuring on version 1385 (MM4) however problem 1. seems to be a bit different now:

1. Re-repeating problem: I set MM playlist to show only track/artist/title/length with NO scrollbar. Therefore when i resize MM from full screen (maximised) where horizontal scrollbar not appearing (as expected), to window mode (unmaximised) where scrollbar appears (as expected) and then going back to full screen view I get a scrollbar appearing (not expected).

1.1 Now for the slight change, in full screen view with scrollbar (not expected), going to window view there's no scrollbar (not expected) and back to full screen view there's no scrollbar (as expected). In simple terms from problem 1. and 1.1.:

For M-U-M-U-M (M=max/full screen, U=unmax/window view)
We have N-Y-Y-N-N (Y=yes scrollbar, N=no scrollbar) [In this repeating cycle, start and end M are the same with no scrollbar. Also Red is error]
What we should expect is obviously N-Y-N-Y-N

Like I said, nothing major or anything (with problems 1, 1.1, 2), but it can be a nuisance.

Both problems 1. and 2. are still occuring on version 1382 (MM4)

In other words:

1. the playlist horizontal scrollbar does not resize itself when you resize MM;
2. When Task Manager is open, Alt+Tab does not work with MM

Not massive problems as such but the playlist scrollbar not re-adjusting is very annoying.

Playlist scrollbar doesn't appear / alt tab problem [#7988]

Sorry for another couple of very tiny problems, but here goes:

1. When using MM maximised i have the window such that there's no horizontal scrollbar for the playlist pane (as shown on the Image 3). When i use MM in window mode (unmaximised Image 1) then obviously a horizontal scrollbar will appear as MM is not tiled fully to the left and right edges of my screen. However from window mode back to maximised view, the horizontal scrollbar appears (Image 2) even though i know there shouldnt be one there (Like in Image 3). This then disappears if i touch on the scrollbar or re-adjust the size of the playlist window.

Ive noticed this happens in any skin. Also if originally in max view there IS a horizontal scrollbar (If in Image 3 there is a scrollbar), when i unmaximise (Image 1) and then maxmise MM again, the length of the horizontal scrollbar doesnt change back to the maximised length (Just like Image 2).

2. Second problem i've noticed is a bit weird. On Vista if you quickly press Alt+Tab key (hold alt, press tab once, release alt) you can switch between current programs window and program window next in line. Also if you do this constantly you alternate only between program window A and program window B and vice versa. If using MM, this function works perfectly with any other program (e.g. if i had firefox then VLC then MM open, MM will alternate with VLC and vice versa if i press Alt+Tab quickly). However if i have Windows Vista Task Manager open, this operation doesnt work properly. What it will do is alternate from VLC to MM but it won't do so from MM to VLC, it just stays on MM. This will happen not just with VLC but with any other program and MM. Also any other programs with task manager opened are not affected. One thing i saw was if you hold Alt+Tab down, MM appears 2nd in line on the task switcher pane and will stay when if you constantly repeat the Alt+Tab function.

I now that sounds a little confusing so if you want i can attempt to upload a vid on the problem(s)

Im on a Acer Aspire 5920, Windows Vista Home Prem version 6.0.6002 SP2 Build 6002, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0ghz processor (T5750), 358mb mobile intel graphic media accelerator, 3gb of Ram. Im using MM 4.0.0.1376 Debug version.
