I know how it works. I've been using MM for at least 2 years now. I can assure you there's a problem with the current release. Just to make you sure, tomorrow I'm going to create a video for you.

It works for me, maybe you are not selecting the first song? Because if you select artist U2 and type 'a' for ABBA then it doesn't work, because ABBA is precedent.

Doesn't work for me. I restarted my PC just in case. It didn't help. I can confirm by making a screencast and posting it here if you'd like.

Tried again on 1422:
- Open Art view
- Sort on Album Artist
- Select song
- Type Letter
and it jumps to the letter.

Same problem with 1422. This problem existed in one of previous versions. I reported this and it got fixed. Now it's happening again.

I downloaded the 1421 too. It doesn't work. I can post you a video if needed!!!

The value of details.

With build 1421 it works for me in the Art, Art with Details and Details view for the sorted column.

Not the media tree, the music library. I select "Show Art" so the library shows only album arts, then I sorted with "Album Artist" (this happens with other sorts too) then I click on one of my albums. After that since I have many albums in my library, I hit one key on the keyboard to find my desired artist.
