Rusty, I also hope that the problem will go away after resolving the issue updating the collection with the first run.
Thank you for your attention to this subject))

Hi KJIACC,

Thanks for all the detailed information. Unfortunately, I still cannot replicate the problem. i.e. even when I create a Collection based on a full path, it has no impact as to whether the file monitor works or not.

The exception is that the Collection won't update when MM is first run (as described at http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=7860 ). I'm hoping that's the root of the problems you're experiencing.

As soon as I removed the drive letter of the criteria for the collection ("\Download\Music" instead of "H:\Download\Music") - the auto-organization began to work as it should!
In my opinion, this is the whole problem.
And this is not the correct behavior. After all, on different hard drives may be the same folder structure.

I removed the collection. Delete rules of the auto-organization. Create them again in the English version. Everything remained still.
But I found something that may be associated with this problem.
This touches on this topic:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... =6&t=58028
Only now we are not talking about auto-playlist, but only of the Collection. A similar situation, which affects the drive letter when creating a rule.
After restarting the MM collection does not appear until it has been refresh (F5).

P.S.
1432
Oh, I forgot to mention. After installing 1432, I made a complete optimization of the database

Strange, I created very similar collection and it works fine for me.

Does the collection show its tracks when you navigate it in the media tree?

i.e. if you navigate 'Music' collection then it shows music track on the right, but if you navigate the 'Test' collection, does it show the tracks?
And if you re-create the collection, does it work?

Strange, but the drive letter to present to the path criteria.

From the log it shows that you defined rules for 2 collections, one is a russian collection and another is called 'test'.
The collection called 'test' has defined criteria Path like ':\Download\Music' and IDMedia = -1 so the H:\Download\Music\Unsort\01 - Suave Suave.flac track doesn't satisfy because of the different IDMedia.

Could you post here screenshot of 'Criteria' page for the collection called 'test'?

1430 Same

I cannot reproduce, but it looks that it is most probably related to
http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=8350
so it should be fixed in build 1430.

If not, I enhanced debug messages to see more about the track organization process in the build 1430.

Another observation:

Auto-Organize does not work when scanning, if Criteria is a Collection.
If this Collection is part of the auto-playlist, Auto-Organize works well when scanning.

To reproduce:

1) Create a collection "Test" (Criteria - Path/Filename = "H:\Download\Music")

2) Tools-Options-Library-Auto-Organize: Create organize rule. Criteria:"Collection:Test". Directory:"H:\Download\Music\". File Format:"$if(<Artist>,$Left($RemovePrefix(<Artist>),1)\$First($RemovePrefix(<Artist>),1)\$if(<Album>,$if(<Year>,<Year> - ,)<Album>\,),' Unknown Artist\$Left($RemovePrefix(<Filename>),1))\<Filename>" (in my case)

3)Tools-Options-Library:

4)Tools-Options-Library-File monitoring:"H:\Download\Music\Unsort" Check marks "Scan Continuously" and "Scan at startup"
("H:\" (in my case - about 200,000 music files) - Check only ""Scan Continuously")

5)Using Windows Explorer, move music files from any external folder into the folder "Unsort"

6)Restart MM.

As a result, Auto-organization does not happen when scanning (All files in the folder "Unsort")

But:

1) Create a AutoPlaylist "Test" (AutoPlaylist Criteria - Search: Collection "Test")

2) Tools-Options-Library-Auto-Organize: Edit organize rule. Criteria: "Playlists:Test". Directory and File Format is the same as in the previous case.

3) same
4) same
5) same
6) same

As a result, Auto-organization works great!
