Thanks for the sample files. It should be all fixed in build 1443.

But first - please delete the file from iPod, delete it from MM4 library, and scan it again to MM4 lib and then send it to iPod. The problem could be, that the wrong value (that was causing the problem before) is still saved in MM4 library a is used instead of new right one. Thanks.

It eventually just stops playing altogether. The tracks continue to play fine in MM4.
Could you upload me the file (e.g. use mediafire.com) and PM me link? Thanks.

All M4A files synch, but some will not play on my nano 6g. Stay stuck at 0's.
Could you upload and PM me link to one of such files? Thanks. You can use e.g. mediafire.com

The issue described in bug 8466 still occurs for me in build 1441.

All M4A files synch, but some will not play on my nano 6g. Stay stuck at 0's.

I did it. The same issue. The guys at MM have been able to reproduce it and they are looking into it.

I did force the synchronization with the iphone to convert any M4A file to MP3 file, and the result was corrupted files in the iphone. However, doing an MP3 conversion on the PC works perfectly. Keep in mind that ONLY the new M4A tracks do sync badly on the iphone, the rest of my music works perfectly. It is the M4A that I bought since a month ago more or less.
Just install the portable version to a different folder than your first installation. It should be completely independent from the first and you can use it just for testing purposes, then delete it.

Rusty, I attempted the installation of MM in portable mode but did not do that as a clean installation. It didn't work for me. I then completely (as much as I could) uninstalled MM then did a clean installation of the full MM and it fixed my issue. Hope this helps!

I'm really interested as well--does a clean install of MM4 (try by installing MM in portable mode to a new directory) resolve this?

See discussion here:

Thanks.

Sounds just like the problem I had (key word!). Full story in this thread [1431] MediaMonkey locks up & corrupts my iPod [#8374] I fixed it by doing a restore on my iTouch in iTunes, uninstalling MM and doing a clean installation of MM. I'm using the latest version 1439 with no issues now.

Hi,

Since 1436, MM does not sync properly those songs that I have bought in iTunes (M4A encoding). It is not a DRM issue, as all these tracks have been syncing before. What happens is that the track is on the iphone and you can play it, but there is no sound (as if volume was 0). Anybody has detected this behaviour also?

I have opened a ticket (http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... etid=13155)

best regards
