Thankyou all for your suggestions. I have tried adjusting permissions on MM folders but without luck. I have also tried admin access without luck.

If I try and run SwitchAndCopy add-on I get the following message

Error #13= Microsoft VBScript runtime error
Type Mismatch 'CreateDropDown'
File C:\Programs\Music\MediaMonkey\Scripts\SwitchOrCopyFields.vbs", Line: 47 Colum 2:

Error happended during Script Excecution

Where does those scripts install themeselves (MM install folder or appdata folder)?
Do they need to create some config files in the application folder?
What error message do you get?

You might have some success by changing the permissions for folders created by the add-ons (if any) and making sure users have write and modify permissions. It helped me with the MegaDJ add-on.

Which scripts are you talking about?

Thanks for your responses. I have run in administrator mode without success. Have set UAC to low, but got same response. Must be some compatability issue. Any thoughts on where to go from here?

Try running as administrator.

I've had permission issues with script manually installed in MediaMonkeys application folder. Probably something with the higher security of Win7. Havn't used Win7 long enough to find a workaround yet (my old WinXP computer died 4 days ago  )

Windows 7 compatability

Hi

I have just upgraded to Windows 7 and have since run into problems with a number of my favourite add-ins - switchOrCopyFields, AdvancedDuplicateFind. Is there a known problem with Windows 7 compatability? any insights appreciated.

Peter
