And please more custom-fields (they can also be invisible...)!

great, my vote goes for composer and lyricist. (Both very important for indian film music)

I have to join the chorus on this one.... Please consider this as a feature for MM2.6.... As a classical music enthusiast it's very difficult to manage classical music without having access to the composer field!! Thank you for all your hard work, 2.5 is a quality product and has been in constant use on my machine.

regards,
J

Is there a reason why this isn't on the wishlist?

I still can't fathom why I can sort my tracks by MEDIA, BPM or Leveling dB, but not Occasion, Quality, Mood or Tempo.

[Actually, I can fathom it, because I've seen how the database is set up. But still...]

Please add this ability!!

Peter

I'm a different Mike :-) - but I just as strongly support that wish. Thanks.

yes, I second that.

Having columns (in the track list and playing now list) for the quality, mood, occasion, etc... fields is a high priority.

there are columns for most other fields, but not for these ones. these columns present very valuable information that need to be ready at my finger tips when I DJ. I don't want to open the file properties box everytime I want to find out the quality or mood of a track, I want to see it right there together with the other informative columns (for fields such as genre, rating, BPM, custom, etc...)

Please add an option to see the quality, mood, ocassion fields as columns.

Thanks,
Mike.

For example, there are columns for genre, artist, album, etc but none for classifications. Having columns for these fields would allow for easy sorting by that field. On the other hand, if the custom fields can be presented as a node that can be drag and dropped to, that would work too.

Perhaps i failed to understand your post. What do you mean that you would like to see columns for classification fields?

by baker » Fri Aug 26, 2005 7:41 am

Are you saying it is possible to make a custom node a subnode of the classifications node?

by psyXonova » Fri Aug 26, 2005 4:46 am

You can drag & drop your files on any subnode of the classifications node and MM will update the selected files to match the target node

Yes, both would be very helpful (maybe also some flags as custom fields?).

And furthermore the possibility to choose as column all the property fields (like original year, publisher, encoder and so on)!

Yes, pleeeease.

Also, more custom fields.

Thanks!
Peter
