The Author field appears to be using the composer tag.
MM needs to update the field tags in the property panel as its showing as composer in the audio book collection.
:-?

Thanks for the info about changing the display, I've got to be a Techie to do it though haven't I?

Reference the "Author" field, all I can say that if you Right Click in the column header of the main display to get the "Manage Collections" list which allows you to select which columns are on display, there is an option to select "Author" along with "Actors", "Producer", "Screen Writer", "Lyricist" etc. I had presumed then that these were fields in the database, and that there must be a way to edit their contents.

I can't find the Author field in MM, I think Artist is used.

You can change what is displayed per Type under Tools > Options > Playback Rules.

AudioBooks

I am a new user and I am hoping an expert can help me.

Amongst my music, I have imported a number of AudioBooks, and, as a result I have the first two questions of the many I shall probably have!
  • How do I make the "Author" field appear in the "Properties" window so that I can edit it. I am at the present using the "composer" field as a substitute, but I can see I will need access to both fields when I come to tidy up my operas and musicals.
  • Can I change the Summary column in the Art View to show the composer or author rather than the performer? If I can How do I do it?
