Still occurs for me on 1492. Tried all the fixes I could find on the forums. None worked. They appear to sync but nothing shows on the device.
*Fixed*

For me I backed up my iPhone and "Reset All Settings & Data" restored, then synced. Worked like a charm, much faster too!

Yes, thats actually what happens. Somehow strange, since Itunes shouldn´t be capable of doing that. And also it wouldn´t be that bad, but sometimes you just have to hook up to get some updates and stuff and then the whole library nis basically dead files

Hi,

I also noticed some sync problems. Even though I switched on the "manually" check in Itunes and told him not to synchronize the music, he will delete all your music from the device you have added via mm. Somehow its not fully deleted, it´s more like a dead ghost file.
I also recognized that if you drag and drop the files in mm it works fine usually. But if you use the right click "send to" ..sometimes it works, sometimes not.

If you're having problems, try the following:
a) delete all tracks from the device in MM
b) sync a single track via iTunes.
--> All the 'phantom' tracks/playlists from build 1483 are deleted from the device

Once the above steps are taken, all sync operations seem to work as expected.

Does that work for you?

Yes, debug log would be necessary. I can sync, but still experience that some files aren't shown on the device. However it is much improved over 1484.

Updated to 1485. Still not able to sync. Does the process, puts the files somewhere on the iPhone but iPhone does not recognize or show playlists/songs. I will try to submit debug logs later on today if necessary.

I reported problems syncing an iPod Touch with IOS5. I wanted to report that the same tracks that would not sync with the iTouch were successfully synced with a standard iPod not having IOS5 but running version 1.3 (which is the latest update for standard iPods).

I am having the same problems as sdudley7 except mine are on an iPod Touch. I synced a single track which appeared under the artist name, but was grayed out on the iPod (there are other tracks by the artist synced from iTunes which are not grayed out) and would not play. I synced a complete album of 14 tracks. The artist does not appear on the iPod itself. The artist does appear when connected to MM but the tracks will not play.

Still experiencing previous error with files showing as syncing but unplayable and no playlists on the device. Am I missing a step?

iPhone 4s 64GB Windows 7 32bit.
a) How many files you are syncing? Does this appear if you sync just small set of files?

b) unplayable means that they appear in the device, but are grayed out? Or are black, but playback fails?

c) Could you download build 1484 Debug and generate debug log following way:
1. Plug your iPhone via USB
2. Start the DbgView app
3. Start MediaMonkey 1484 Debug build
4. Sync something to the iPhone and let it finish
5. Attach the debug log generated by DbgView app or email it to us (ls at this domain) or send it via eSupport ticket.

Thank you.

Now up to 1484

1) Playlists do not show up on IOS5 iPod, but do on an old iPod. 1482 did show playlists created in MM (not not others), but that disappeared with 1483

2) No safely remove device button (or right click) for IOS5 iPod but it is there for old iPod
