Hey,

I'm so sorry I didn't send a debug report as asked but life kept me too busy to trial the builds.

I have been able to fully sync without any problems with build 1490. I'm yet to try build 1491 but I'm guessing that will work too.

Thanks so much for providing the majority of users a fully working build :)

Once again really sorry about dropping out of contact but glad you managed to fix it anyway!

Joe

Ideally (if it is a crash) the ELF log, you can find it as 'MediaMonkey.elf' (in Portable installations, it is located in \<install>\Portable\ ; on Win7 it's at C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\EurekaLog\MediaMonkey ).

Thanks!
I have downloaded v 1491 (no debug version available yet)I started up iTunes and transferred one song. Then I synced 1849 songs, and was able to see the songs on the iPod in MM and on the iPod after detaching from the computer. I am trying another iPod too, just to make sure, and I will try it without the single transfer from iTunes first (it shouldn't make a difference, but you never know).

It still does not sync; the debug version asks to send an error report. All files on the iPod are greyed out when trying to play.

EDIT: To clarify, it does not crash, but that may be because this is the debug version... (?)

Hi, try with build 1490 where the crash was fixed.

Hi,

I also wanted to note that my 1489 build also crashes on sync, at seemingly random junctures. It does always crash if the song that is playing is attempted to sync. I am on IOS 5.1.1.

I hope that I am not hijacking the thread; I seem to recall reading that similar bugs should be posted in one thread.

Hey,

Really sorry I haven't tested it yet as I've been ill.
I'm out for most of today but will get straight on it when I'm back.

Also please re-test with builds 1486 and 1487 to confirm that this really started with recent builds, this info would help us a lot (as we cannot reproduce the issue).

Thank you.

Hi Joe,

We've added more debug messaging into build 1489 (to be posted shortly) to help track down the cause of the crash. Can you please send us an updated log?

Thanks.

Hmm, it looks like a low level problem, are you sure that it started with build 1487?
Could you re-test with 1486 to confirm?
Does syncing with iTunes work fine?

Yep, that was definitely the last line. It crashed then nothing else happened in the debug logger.

I get the standard window saying that MM has stopped working and this info.

I did have a look for the MediaMonkey.elf file but it wasn't there.

Hi, is the last line in the log when it crashed?

Did you send a crash log that should be auto-generated in case of crash?
Or the crash log was not generated and MM simply shut down?

On the last two builds MM crashes during syncing.
The furthest it has got is about 80 songs before crashing although on the debug log I have it only got through a few songs.
This happens every time on my PC so I can easily reproduce it.

Here is the debug log for it. http://www.filedropper.com/mmcrash

Hope this helps :)
