Maybe you can try install Media Foundation pack (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=30685)

Thank you very much. This should help to solve my problem. I'll try it. Thanks again.

But it used to work on Release Preview. How come it stopped working on Windows 8 RTM? Is it because of the N version?

MediaMonkey doesn't support Windows 8 yet.

I couldn't wait 'till October so I downloaded and installed the leaked version of Windows 8 N Enterprise. All my programs work except MediaMonkey. I cannot play ANY file. I tried several times, no luck! It's important to note that I have been using the ReleasePreview of Windows 8 for some time now and haven't had any problems with MediaMonkey. First I thought it might be a CODEC problem. I downloaded and installed the trial CODEC pack, it didn't help. I installed Winamp, it worked perfectly. I want my MM back :(
