UPDATE: So they don't have Updates set up for the Beta version?
Kind of surprising, considering how easy that is to set up... Guess I'll update manually.

Make sure you're on the same network (some have a wifi network separated from home network). If that's the case try restarting your device and if it still fails restart MMW too.

I am having a *similar* issue, but have not tried the remedy.

Tools->Options->Media Sharing (UPnP/DLNA) shows enabled and running
Both devices working fine on WiFi

In MMA:
Last night, when connected with USB i could go to UPnP and saw my laptop fine. I know it worked cause it allowed me to play a movie i had just added to laptop MM.

Today I can not connect UPnP either wifi or connected.

in MMA:
Either connected US or not, if I options, select sync server ... after 20 seconds or so I get the message

Please download and install MediaMonkey on PC ... etc

Options shows MM wifi sync enabled and running.

I have tried the remedy mentioned but still not working.

This is really my first foray into sync wifi or upnp ..

I was having issues where after syncing my device to Media Monkey correctly, when I went to sync again at a later date, it would just hang at "Connecting..."

This is what I did to get it working:
-On the Android device, go to Settings->Apps->Downloaded->MediaMonkey. Then force stop, and clear data.
- then restart MediaMonkey on the PC.
- then Open MediaMonkey on the Android Device again and attempt to sync. It should work now

Hope that helps everyone else.

Some data that MediaMonkey stores on the Android device is conflicting with data on the MediaMonkey-client-side server. Clearing them both (by clear data and restarting of PC-MM) solves the issue. To the devs: I would code some sort of Expiration for this data after finding the culprit. Perhaps by timer, or by System Date. Refreshing the data after disposing of it should programmatically solve this issue for users.
