Hello all. I am trying to make the switch from iTunes to MM for my music sync needs but I am having issues with getting the "volume-matching" features to work.
When I rip tracks I do NOT level volumes, I simply have MM analyze them. I confirm that this piece works because when I play back songs on the computer with "Level Playback volume to..." checked, the songs are volume-matched, while when "Level Playback volume to...." is NOT checked, volume varies between songs.
But when I sync to iPhone (4S, IOS 6.1.2), volume varies whether I have SoundCheck turned on or off on the phone.
To test this I'm using two versions of the same song (Neil Young's "Cinnamon Girl") which I have on two different CDs (a 1980s vintage copy of "Decade" that was mastered pretty quietly and a recent remaster that is mastered loud).
What's the secret to having the volume-matching information from MM transfer properly to the iPhone?
