OK.

The fact that MMW does not remove the track when settings was
[x] Delete other files and playlists from the device [Unselected Library Files]
is correct, because the track is no longer in MMW library (was deleted).

You need to change the settings slightly to
[x] Delete other files and playlists from the device [All other media files]


So the bug is that WiFi sync removes the file, to be fixed as http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=11349

Now I synced via WiFi, and MMA deleted the file that I had deleted from MMW. I'm not sure why it didn't work syncing via USB. I guess it's not a big deal, since I'll be mostly syncing via WiFi. I'm just wondering if somehow I did have the settings correct when I was syncing via USB.

I am using MMW 1662 and MMA 168, and I'm syncing with an Acer A500 via USB. I'm trying to figure out how to delete files on MMA that have been deleted on MMW. I've got MMW set up to sync Music with MMA. Then, I added five music files to MMW. Those correctly synced to MMA. However, after I deleted one of the files from MMW, that file was not delete don MMA. On the Auto-Sync (->Device) tab I have checked "Delete other files and playlists from the device" and I chose "Unselected Library Files" from the drop down list.
